Mr. Brooks focuses his practice on representing businesses on a wide range of employment related issues from advice and counsel and management training through administrative, state and federal court litigation. He has represented major defense contractors, universities, hospitals and other health care organizations, as well as technology and manufacturing companies in Florida, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

  • Successfully resolved arbitration dispute between medical equipment manufacturer and third party administrator relating to the payment of employee claims, 2003.
  • Obtained favorable defense verdict for ring and seal manufacturing company in race discrimination lawsuit, 2003.
  • Successfully resolved dispute between medical equipment manufacturer and former employee relating to breach of employment contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and misrepresentation, 2003.

  • Represented major east coast hospital in favorable resolution of defamation claim, 2000.
  • Obtained favorable defense verdict for Florida based manufacturing company in race and national origin discrimination lawsuit, 1998.
  • Successfully represented a major defense contractor in 3 reductions-in-force over a 2 year period involving nearly 10,000 employees, 1992.
